This was the second knife in my second purchase, and what you see in the photograph is exactly what you get. I bought it purely as a collectible, and well pleased as always. Great value, and very pretty embellishments all round. The inner handle into which the blades retract is brass lined. Fiercely sharp, both blades, and chunky to hold, this is in every way a functional knife, and the pouch is stoutly made and equally functional. I’d say necessary, because the knife is on the heavy side to be carried in a pocket. Absolutely possible to do so, of course, but I was relieved to have the pouch! What I particularly like here is that whilst the blades don’t lock open, their engagement is firm, so should you use the knife as a tool, you’d have a high degree of confidence that it won’t accidentally fold closed. Another excellent product, and well worth the price- to use or to display, or both!
